Dermorphin

Dermorphin is a naturally occurring peptide belonging to the opioid family, known for its potent pain-relieving effects. It was first isolated from the skin secretions of South American tree frogs, specifically the Phyllomedusa genus. Its chemical structure is a heptapeptide (seven amino acids), and it exhibits extremely high affinity for mu-opioid receptors in the nervous system.
